A staircase should no longer be just a means of getting from one floor to another, it should be a thing of beauty; a piece of fine craftsmanship to be admired by you and your guests for years to come. Westgrove Joinery hand craft beautiful staircases to your exact design using the finest, sustainable timber. Prime grade solid Oak, still a favourite, is just one such timber. There is also Ash or Sapele; maybe Beech or Cherry. We are happy to discuss the various options and show you samples of the timber. How about closed tread or open tread? Maybe cut string? We offer timber spindles, glass balustrades or even metal spindles. Traditional handrails or continuous, in varying designs.

But, the first thing is to talk. Let us have the opportunity to discuss your staircase. Talk about the design you have in mind; investigate other options that we may be able to suggest. We listen to what you want, whether it is a gothic front door in Oak; or perhaps an elegant curving staircase in Ash.
